Re: Motoplat/Serveta electronic spares.
I wouldn't worry about the cdi, the crank will shear off long before the cdi packs up... Lol OOOOPS! Popping along nicely on the a 68 towards kelso and I hears the most wonderful sound. One I've not heard before, but one I pretty much instantly knew. Yes my friend , the one of a Li crankshaft shear...

Re: Corrado. - Just Lambretta
I have on occasion ordered from Martin and have been very happy with the service, price and quality of parts However he has always posted any ordered items to me and not delivered them personally. I think the offer of a chill out in me sauna with a bottle of wine put him off somewhat

Re: dave webster tribute topic
a few glimpses of him on here.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYPAVEdV8q8 Stuff there in that ''The Cooler'' engine that Dave did all those years back that folk see as new now as stuff in the Lambretta world. That just shows how he revolutionised Lambretta tuning and design for both power and relia...

Re: best brake shoes
The Mikano shoes that AF sell seem to work well and be of good quality and are Japanese of origin.Cheers,Speedy. Are these different to Makino ones which are Indian, but pretty good imo? Yer could be right mi duck, I was always told they were Jap  . They are pretty good though. I always used ...

Re: Motoplat/Serveta electronic spares.
Thanks all again, it will be interesting to see what can be machined away and see if the boss could be successfully fitted. If so then a really great ignition system awaits I'm sure. :D Any news on the x ray yet, or is it too soon. Really want to see if I can get one converted and working properly,...

Re: What 2 stroke?
Tell me about it. It's more confusing than the omnibus of Emmerstreetenders, ffs! Even heard off a motor cross rider that some oils are designed for water cooled and not air cooled bikes, so aren't upto the job on an air colled bike. That's another new one on me, but hey ho, so little wonder we have ...

Re: What 2 stroke?
I don't think it's either of them in fairness mi duck. They are just some more oils that seem to be popping up. All the big four oil companies now have several ''Scooter Oils'', which is just rediculous. I think the Comp 2 they spoke of is the old pre mix one, before they abolished it and just kept ...
