A friend has had some problems with scootronics stuff perhaps the problem lies in one of the new bits you have put on. Could be.... I'll swop the external pick up for the one on my scoot, see if it changes anything. Nope, still the same, swopped the pick up, no difference, swopped the cdi, no diffe...

A mate wants his scooter converted to 12v electronic,simple operation,done loads,so off we go. Bog standard SX 150, 20mm carb,airbox,points,running ok apart from really bad lights,hence the 12v conversion. Chrome plating removal.

Earlier i dragged an old series 3 Lambretta side casing from behind a pile of junk at the back of the shed. Structurally its in good nick,but once upon a time it was chromed. As you can imagine the oxidising has got to it,so its peeling quite badly. Anybody have any suggestions on how to remove the ...

Sealed lead acid batteries.

Can sealed lead acid batteries be used on their side or do they have to be upright?
I'm not sure what's inside them so I thought i would ask🙄
