Yeah, I have one of those inline fuel filters - that might be getting restricted now that it's been on a while. Have ordered a bit of fuel hose to replace it - see if that helps - it will certainly eliminate it if that is the cause.

Stator breakdown???

Just got my scooter set up properly, new build with everything brand new - apart from the Varitronic ignition which is about 4 years old - i had it on the dyno a few weeks ago and it has been running spotless - until yesterday. Thrashing around through the gears is great but if I hit top revs, and i...

As it warns on the advert that they aren’t best for Road they probably won’t - I’d rather sort it then it’s done.

Re-rivetting end can?

Got a Protti exhaust on my engine - advert at CASA does say that the carbon silencer won't last as long as a aluminium end can - more suited to race rather than road use. Anyhoo, I have noticed that the silencer is starting to come loose at the rivets already. What is the best way to repair these? J...

Re: AF 5 Speed Fitting Question

For those of you who have fitted the AF 5 speed boxes, did you need a selection of shims to get it right? Thinking of buying one, but didn't want to have everything pulled apart to only find I haven't got the right bits. Thanks, George. They recommend having a range of shims on hand but they also s...

Re: A wiggle on my flywheel nut!

Just running in my new build SS250 and find that every now and then I can feel a bit of movement when I wiggle the flywheel nut. Other times there is no movement at all - I have checked the flywheel, everything is ok there. I have taken the side casing off and checked the front sprocket bolt. It's ...
