bugger,just bought a 25phbl with a 30 slide,how can you tell its richness off tickover is the slide or the pilot jet?

the best way is to go up about 115-120 on the main so it 4 stokes badly, then work down until it runs clean and id stick with that, your atomiser seems rather large as well, my set up on a tv175, standard apart from 24mm phbl and sito clubman through a baffleless airbox but with filter is 100 main, ...

i have a sr 175 barrel but want to take it out to use a dt175 piston, will the barrel happily overbore to take this piston, which i believe starts at 66mm, is a iron tv175 barrel a better bet?

remote air filter position
has anyone done any work on tempretures under the panels? Most bikes seem to have their remote filters in the upright position of a standard air hose, but surely theair is cooler and fresher at a 2.00 oclock postion, nearer the fan cowling, does it even matter? any thoughts?

its a casa s2 big bore.re-annealed gasket, used the sealant as per instructions, fired it up and within 5 mins could see black oily deposit starting to form on threads of exhaust stud, however yet again no increase in tickover or carburetion, so it cant be drawing any significant amount of air, so a...
