Hi Dave
I'd check the squish again as it sounds like the piston could just be hitting the head a high revs. Take the head of and you will soon see if it has, its best to be sure.

Re: Air Hose Drain Valve
I have a PWK 30 which although starts fine and runs OK it has become very boggy up to 1/8 throttle and I'm curious about the float levels. It now run a MB short manifold which tilts the carb backwards, the question is should I adjust the float levels to compensate for this?

Speak to Pete at CamLam he will be able to advise you all about the Imola kit, I believe it was his tested in the Scootering acticle a little while back. Having ridden with him only this weekend I can tell you that it's definitely no slouch and it sounds glorious. I maybe wrong but I think this is a...

Just out of curiosity what jets and needle are you running in the OKO, as I have a similar set up.

Re: New Muggy 186, cant believe my own eyes.
Doesn't the Muggy V4 have a piston ported rear boost port?
Perhaps this is the key here with the extra transfer area. Seems that the ratio of transfer area per bore capacity must be a lot higher.

Access to Flywheel Bearing
A quick question regarding the mag housing. Do you need to completely remove the barrel before it's possible for this to come away from the casing, thus giving access to this bearing. The reason I ask is there seems to be a little bit of float on the flywheel, about 0.5 so I may need to investigate ...

Re: revs problem
Next time this happens , remove the air filter hose form the carb mouth and see if this helps. It could be unburnt fuel getting spit back against it, especially if the inlet timing has been increased with a cut piston.
