Having said use a socket I did my mag bearing yesterday, put the bearing on the top of the hole and heated the outside with a blow torch. After about a minute heating it round evenly the bearing just dropped right in! On using pullers, isn't there more of a risk of pulling it right thru? Tapping it ...

It'd be real easy to knock one up it's just thin steel strip about 50mm wide use the muffler as a form.

Nice one, I guess there were some like that then, looks in great nick. There should have been a clamp round the muffler, kind of shaped like a P or b with a bracket which went up to the rear lower shock mount. You can see it in Byrons pics. You ought to be able to get the rubber mounts at any motor ...

As far as I know they are being made specifically to Readspeed's requirements with a selection of retard maps inside the CDI chosen that are of use on 2-strokes. The idea is to offer a range of switchable maps like the Chiselspeed MTech, but all built in to the CDI box rather than being a bolt-on w...
