Re: MPG from a malossi 210 engine?

I have 210 with long stroke crank 30 mil delorto and reed valve. Does about 80 on a full tank but don't run it too low as it runs lean so usually about 70. Seems it is slightly better since I put an augusto on it. Into a wind will hammer it harder but pull back the throttle ...and watch that needle ...

Re: Clutch woes.

I bought a new spider recently and it was similar problem to you , very tight and slipping. On measuring it was 0.4mm short and was not fully disengaging. Shop I bought it from replaced it and refunded my money.

Mikini TMX 35mm - what air filter fits with long range tank?

Have an RB engine and think it would be more sensible running with air filter but am no clearer to knowing what fits with reading various threads. Does the Breath Sweeter fit and I have also seen it lying horizontal , does it work ok like this? Also oil seal has gone after 400 miles on brand new eng...

Jetex 24mm - anyone tried one?

I have slightly tidied up the top end of my standard jet 200 (not even as much as stage 4) and am running a 22mm jetex. I was thinking of taking it up to a 24mm PWk but seen the jetex 24mm as a cheap option. Just running with a clubman and getting 60 on flat and a couple of miles more downhill. Just...

Re: What sparkplug for Malossi 210

Hmmm, what are these NGK B8 EGV , never heard of them. Looked at them on web , bloody expensive for a plug. What sort of tune would use this? I have malossi kit with no extra work done on the shaded areas, reed valve, machined head , long stroke crank 30mil delly and augusto with JL rhs exhaust, wou...

What sparkplug for Malossi 210

was reading a bit on sip website and it suggested a - SIP TIP! W3CC spark plug (Bosch)looks short reach although the pic may be different it says. I usually just use a Denso W24ES (B8ES NGK) which are long reach , what would be the benefit of the W3CC or a short reach, something to do with compressi...

Re: Stator problem scooter not revving

I have changed the stator and tried another Voltage regulator and re earthed and everything is working fine. I am leaving it there for the day as cdi and regulator are not fitted to the frame so I don't want to spoil what is left of my Sunday by bolting them on taking the scooter out on a road test ...

Re: Stator problem scooter not revving

ok , tried changing wires around but no success. Tried a couple of regulators so I can rule that out. It is simply when I remove the yellow wire from the regulator everything is fine (other than no lights etc) but plug it in again and the revs just don't pick up ( although my lights work and my horn...
