every now and then the scoot seems to die off and will not rev (feels like its running out of fuel), it backfires once then takes off again as if nothings wrong. i've cleaned the breathing sweet filter as it was a bit dusty and checked the tank vent and tap and the readings on the cdi check out ok. ...

its a 10mm left hand thread tap, i'm sure its 1mm pitch. i bought one from ebay, it came from china but is ideal for cleaning the threads up. less than £15 posted too. i'm in work at the moment but can check the pitch size in the morning and repost if it's any different

i use them on my series 2 and my gp. worked so well on the gp i went out and bought another set for the series 2 but they dont work so well on it as the gp.

well i'm running mine in now. its got sx200 gearing with 16/46 sprockets so somewhere near 4.5 gearing. its got an avanti clubman with a 30mm phbh running through a breathing sweet filter. only covered 160 miles so far and being meticulous running it in. i'm 18 1/2 stone and i can say so far it pull...
