my mate is having the same problem, will run fine then start missing, put a new stator on ran fine then played up again. have changed wiring loom and cdi but no different only option left now is ignition switch/headset wiring.

TS1 piston problem
after taking my scoot to be dynoed today the tuner checked my piston and found what looked like chew marks on the exhaust side of the piston (on the top) anyone else had this problem!!! and what may have caused it, cheers.

i had a simular problem with a new crown wheel and it was the shoulder that the bush sits in,it was 1mm too high, my mate pulled his hair out for weeks over that,supplied by resurection scooters!. took john from JB to finaly work out what was wrong!! put a new SIL one in problem sorted.

help please!! have just swaped my servetta 150 gear box for a sil gp200, carb was set up as follows slide 40 needle k57 2nd notch atom dg286 float needle 300 main jet 186 pilot 60 franspeed JL3 exhaust moved the needle to top position as it was four stroking badly, did a plug chop and its pure white...

JL now do a jl3 to fit ser 2s,the new style brackets aint bad,scooter loopy john has re-made the rear mount,ive got one its a good solid bit of kit.....big bad john is his e bay name does some trick kit for lammys.

cheers, my mate is building it for me, not done a gear box before! but he was worried the preasure plate/flange would not mach up,have read that i need to swap the needle bearing that i have, for the brass bush type as the sill christmas tree wont run well in it?

gearbox advice please
have just swaped my crap serveta 150 box for a sil gp200. will i need to change my clutch spider or will i be able to re use the one i have, and do i need to swap anything else while im at it. thanks
