I have used mesh on mine before, it was fairly big gage mesh as I didn't want to restrict airflow but surprisingly it still ran very rich. So you will have to rejet to suit. Interestingly it was more restrictive than a breath sweat filter.

I've changed my mind, re: the Savas. This is my back one after only about 1200 miles.
