Hello found a air leak from exhaust stub it's only a small pin hole where it's not welded fully. Question is would some JB weld do the job and hold given that the temperature would be very high? Or would you recommend something other method i.e. Get somebody to weld it correctly? Oh it's a Franspeed...

Had this the other day, changed whole light switch thinking that was the problem. It ended up being 1 of the 2 metal connections that the bulb touches had been very slightly bent back and not touching the bulb.

I like the extended kick start idea, it also looks like a series 3 side casing to go with it.

If memory is correct you don`t need to tap the old stripped thread you just screw in the next over size stud in like a self tapper as the ali is softer.

I've done the school boy error before on a mates scooter and clipped the strobe on the HT lead upside down ie backwards and wondered why it wasn't working.
