Interesting........I just stuck a mates SIL lightened flywheel on me scoot, and without even checking tdc/timing it started first time...........conclusion flywheel no good..........

Cheers Lambro, in these modern times we should not expect to have any issues whatsoever, but hey ho. I will take a look at this kit then as I really need an easy life nowadays !! (Ha owning a Lambretta no way )

Hi All, I'm looking to buy a well proven hassle free lammy ignition kit for a GP 200 stage 4 (poss going to a TS1 in the near future). My mate had one of these boxes lock up solid in London on a ride out and we were all just poodling along in the traffic doing no more than 30mph. Coasters right though ....if in doubt get it properly checked out and dyno'd and plug chops.........I haven't done that yet, but instead listen to how quickly the revvs drop when I throttle up to see how rich or lean its running. I stuck on an Augusto 7000 without Dyno and no plug chops, runs sweet..............Question if I may.....if the Augusto fails what's the repurcussions ?
