bgm clubman and avanti kit

Has anyone fitted a bgm clubman to an Avanti barrel? was it much bother as I hear that some of the fins need to be 'modified'

thanks to Ron who pointed me in the right direction. turns out it was the float. ethanol in the petrol had worked its magic on the float and it was leaking. all sorted now

had a problem with the Avanti last weekend. started belching white smoke and wouldn't run without the choke. assumed it was the drive side seal so I've replaced the seal and put a new bearing in with the extra seal fitted. cleaned the carb and drained the tank and put fresh fuel in. bloody thing is ...

who stocks DRT sprockets in the uk? I need a 19 tooth front sprocket and want a drt one but riminis postage is very expensive. I've bought from tass in the past but they are out of stock

wassel conversion

I converted my gp to a full 12v dc set up last year but recently the battery ran down and I realised that without the battery connected that the lights were very dim, any idea what might be wrong with the wiring set up or the conversion to cause this?

it will drop back around 12 degrees for the 1st 1500/2000 revs then go back to near the static timing until 4000 rpm. it will then start to retard as the rpm increases. it all depends on what power curve you are using. if you look at the graphs on the kytronik site it shows how the curve plot out co...

check the cylinder head volume, i blew 2 pistons on my imola before checking the head. it was running way to high compression and combined with the numpty who built the engine before me who put the seals in the wrong way round, i thought changing the seals cured the fault but it blew again, thats wh...
