ive done a couple of these,you need to clamp a long straight edge between the front leg shield support and the rear runner board support and your new support is clamped to the angle,the new support needed grinding to get a good fit ,your gap does look big,also if you have side panels you need to fit...

mates ts1 was running rough and using loads of petrol,so we decided to put new reed petals in,we discovered what looked like a crack in the bridge between the two windows,so we got a new asso piston. top end was rebuilt with new gaskets and good sealant,came to start and there was hardly any compres...

cheers,grampian motors have mitaka ke175d conrods in stock and want £20 to turn the pin down or af have pins at £12,so will have a measure up when i split crank,but the ke rod is looking favourite,cheers

hi all,got a rb crank with a knackered big end,so going to have a go at pressing pin out ,trueing back up and tig welding the pin. the crank measures 40.64mm over the webs and conrod measures 15mm wide at big end, so looking at the rd/dt175 mx rod which is 16mm wide at the big end,and will run with ...

wouldnt bother with a cable operated one,spent hours trying to get a one to work that came on a tv 175,lever went all way back to the grip with standard and reverse pull set up. new actuator still the same.so he decided to buy a new remade one,guess what still the same and the speedo was erratic,sup...

yeah disc floats on pins,even tried a new actuator,with everything adjusted up so the disc is slightly rubbing on the pads, the brake lever is hitting the handle bar grips,due to the travel in the actuator arm. you can also just move the wheel with your hand when the lever is back to the grip. due t...
