Re: Stage four cylinder + Eibar 200 head

I have used a Spanish 200 head on a stage 4 indian barrel and it ran fine... I also used the Spanish head on a Rapido 200, That was so I could lower the compression ratio a little compared to the 9.1-1 ratio skimmed head that I had used... Again it ran well and allowed it to rev a little higher on.....

Re: 200 engine in a series 2??

You will need to fit an LI/SX clutch bell as you can't fit a brass plunger for the GP clutch bell to the LI side case, only the GP side case has this to my knowledge.

but other than what's been mentioned in the thread so far I think that's about it...

Best of luck,

Mark...

You will have to open out the holes to take 8mm studs & remove some alloy from the sidecase to fit the bracket for the JL exhaust.

Re: 200 engine in a series 2??

Yes it pretty much is but the series 2 kickstart will most likely miss the rubber stop. I fitted the series 2side case to mine and opened out the stud holes and carefully milled out the alloy around the studs on the side case to take a Taffspeed exhaust bracket. The casing looks as it should but the...

Re: Lambretta End Plate Stud Failure?

Like the idea of upside-down nylocks.!

if using spring washers on the endplate studs the spring washers should only be used once and then replaced if you want to get the best out of them.

Re: Building a crank D.I.Y

I've had cranks built for me by Grampians in the Past, but now there are many quality cranks with 110 rod kits fitted it's less bother to just buy one of these. I have access to a press, centres & V blocks, copper mallets wedges clamps & gauges for truing up after. But I still buy ready made...
