Can any of the electrical guru's recommend a suitable power source for testing the electrics on the scooter instead of starting it up and gassing myself in the shed?

I have one of the airhawk cruiser pillion models and its 11x9 inches and suited to lambretta seat shape more than any of their other pads. It's the cheapest too as far as I know.
