hhmmm i looked at prices of a GP crank with a 116mm rod and well, im not really prepared to pay £300 and upwards. I am not going to tune the engine and will fit a slightly lighter flywheel as part of a 12v conversion so a MAZZUCCHELLI TV crank should do fine. Unless someone knows of different prices...

Not a good day I am afraid... couldn't get the flywheel off the crank regardless of which puller was used inc a rather large 3 legged version in addition to the "proper" one and rediculous amounts of heat etc. I had to sacrifice the crank... this is what's left of the flywheel taper. http:...

Sorry.. due to the edit time out I couldn't add the last bit.
Any ideas when they changed from 2 weld on loops to a single weld on and bolt on? I have found quite a few photos of the 2 welded loop forks.

The 2 marks are cracks! confirmed by dye penetrant. At the moment I'm having huge difficulty removing the lower steering bearing race. I might have to cut a slot in it :( Gearbox stripped , good too as all nuts were very loose.. imagine the absolute slightest pinch up with a 1/4 ratchet. I noticed s...
