Any 'speedo fix' tricks?
Morning All! Speedo on my LIS 150, has once again stopped working! Had 2 new inners which have covered approx 400 miles between them, but started 'fluttering' badly a couple of days ago, and has now stopped! Took it all to bits yesterday, examined (all looks OK), and lightly lubricated, refitted, bu...

Re: 20mm Dellorto on LIS 150!
My LI150S import from Italy had a 18mm on that was well worn so I put a 20mm on, I will check the jetting and let you know. My mate bought a Pacemaker new from the local dealer in 1966 and it came with a 20mm carb on. I am sure about this because I checked it over to find out why it was quicker tha...

Re: Standardish Lambretta Set Ups
I have gone back to standard on my 150 special and although it's not as quick as it was with the mugello kit, clubman and 25mm dellorto it's quiet, does miles to gallon and a pleasure to ride. Hi Tractorman. Are you running with a standard 18mm, carb, and standard exhaust? Got an 18mm on mine, and ...

Re: Steering Lock Help!
Filing cabinet keys eBay (337) Seriously? Yes i s**t you not, you just need to think outside the box. Think about it, the key is the same profile with the same number, it will fit trust me and it will only cost you a couple of quid. Brilliant! Thanks for that. As it happens, I had a rumage through ...

Re: Steering Lock Help!
Only the top has to come off, theres a small screw that secures the lock in, just under the gear pulley, undo this and put the key in the lock and you should be able to pull the lock out Seen that, but thought pulley would have to come off to access it! Will give it a go if no key is forthcoming! C...

Re: Steering Lock Help!
Hi Chris, thanks for reply. I did try the padlock key last night, locking and unlocking at least a dozen times, all with relative ease! Tried the 'jiggling' thing several times today, but no luck! Hoping someone out there can lend me a key, but if not, it looks like headset off.Top already off, but ...

Steering Lock Help!
Found an old padlock key last night which just happened to fit the steering lock on my 65 LIS 150 (original key was not with bike when I bought it back in April). Tried in several times in the garage and seemed perfect. Went out for a run this morning and throttle cable broke 3 miles from home. Phon...

Re: Cleaning small sieze marks barrel and piston?
You could also drill some 1/2 to 1mm holes in the piston directly beneath the bottom ring on the part where the heart caused the siezure. I have done this many times, it's a trick I got from a dirt bike tuning manual. It helps to keep the piston cool at the very point where it gets hot. Mike How ma...

20mm Dellorto on LIS 150!
Morning Guys.
Having problems with my 18mm delly on my 150 Special, so want to swap it for a 20mm one I have in the garage. Anyone running one with a 20mm, and if so , what jetting/slide are you using? Scoot is all standard with standard exhaust.
Cheers
Martin
