Avanti bogging down
I've got this problem on an Avanti I rebuilt for my mate. We changed the crank and finally cured (after several attempts) the drive side oil seal failing with a rimini drive side plate. But now, it really bogs down in first and 2nd and you have to really rev and slip the clutch to get away. Reminds ...

Re: EXOL.............Again???????
Why don't we call it a day and leave it that some folk think exol oil is the dogs whats its and others think it crap. Agreed ! I think it's good oil for the price and I run 4 lambretta on it , as of yet, no mechanical failures on the top end - ran this for about 5 years , had about 7 tubs - mind yo...

Re: GORI 50mm EXHAUST
I've got the "rimini only" GP50 - it's not the tightest fit on the slip joint, unlike the Ron moss/BGM , but high temp silicone (I use pro seal as used in karts) and it's fine.
Mine has the spring though, thought they all did ?

Re: Bgm Clubman
Also, arnt the BGM Pipes closer to 50 mm so better than the closer to 42mm scootopia pipes for kits 225 and above? I'd happily buy a scootopia pipe but I believe they would be too restrictive and possibly cause a build up of heat?

Re: Spanish ser 2 mudguard
The rear muddy on my Spanish Li S2 has two large holes (approx 10mm) punched into the rear lower edge. Because they are punched not drilled, I'm assuming they are factory created. Does anyone know why they are there? They're to fit the rubber buffer (square black rubber block) that fits between the...
