I bought my 12volt 7.2 Ah sealed lead acid battery from Maplin, I think I paid around £28. Me too, then I found an auto electrical supplier that did them at half the price :roll: I just had a look at Martin's link and they are half the price there too :roll: I guess it pays to shop around :oops:

I would suspect that the it's to do with the frequency of the vibration, the higher frequency produced by the engine would be more likely to cause frothing than the waggling about due to suspension movement. As for rubber mount carbs falling off, it does happen and rubbers do split but there are now...

I bought my 12volt 7.2 Ah sealed lead acid battery from Maplin, I think I paid around £28. Seems to be performing ok despite me over charging it with 15+ volts :oops:

I have been running my Mk1 mugello for well over 5,000 miles now, I fitted a race crank, an ebay indian electronic kit, an Li 150 box, an uprated 5 plate clutch and springs and a 16 toothe sprocket. I kept the original Li 125 special chain but swopped the upper chain guide for a nylon type. 40 miles...

Personaly I'd be suprised if it is an ignition fault, you'd expect it to get worse at higher revers, not better. I would look at your choke and make surem that the plunger nis fully sealing when it is turned off. Have a look down the little hole on the carb inlet. there should be a litle bit of slac...

It does matter which way each gear goes round. If you have one the wrong way round you won't be able to select that gear as it will jump straight out of gear.
