Re: Tyre choice?

You've checked the obvious things like no play (or very little) in your rear hub? You should be able to take both hands of your handlebars and the scooter still rides straight, if it pitches to one side then there's definitely something wrong somewhere! no chance taking both hands off, if I did it ...

Re: Tyre choice?

Yes fitted new BGM mounts a week or so ago, made no difference to the handling problem apart from making the scooter rideable in respect of vibrations. I've ordered some more steering bearings top and bottom from another supplier this morning, if they make no difference I will have to whip out the f...

Re: Tyre choice?

Yes ever since I've had it I've been constantly tightening and loosening the steering bearings, originally when I did the rebuild I used Scootopia bearings top and bottom not noticing how badly made they were, well after the first few rides it quickly became evident that the balls of the top race we...

I have to say the overall handling of the scoot ain't great, I'm hoping this could just be down to the classic block pattern schwables I have. Btw, I'm running 20 psi in the...

Re: Petseal tank liner

I swilled out my tank the other week as I was getting rust particles in my carb but dared not apply this pet seal shite after all the horror stories, if it goes again I'm simply going to fit one of the zintec lined re-pro tanks.

Tyre choice?

Ok so now I'm getting in to it a bit as a "scooterist" post rebuild and after fitting scawalbe white wall ditch finders I'm beginning to think maybe I should have gone for something more in keeping with modern roads and conditions, so my question is is there a perticular type/make of tyre ...

Re: MB Wiring Loom Help

Best thing to do as your not using a battery is to find the feed wire from the rectifier and attach the live from a battery charger then attach the earth wire to the frame and try everything just to make sure your not missed anything.
