Re: old school eye candy

Some of you guys are hilarious !  Attack people for no reason at all, insult, demand video proof, insult, we agree and put you on the spot, then you waffle, waffle, waffle, and try to slink away... C'mon, don't be such a chicken, Rich. You just spent paragraphs telling everyone why it is ...

Re: More speed with reliability -£450 budget.

A decent tuned exhaust can be had for £70 or so. A 30mm PWK carb kit with manifold for the same. New cylinder if you want, but before buying make sure your squish is set properly and good compression. Maybe you just need a new piston and the head done?

Should be decent like that to start anyway.

Waffle, waffle, waffle. You must be hiding something ;-)

Re: old school eye candy

>>I wasn't suggesting anyone is lying, you came up with that yourself No, Rich did and said to be straight with people instead. Surely you read his post above? Here's the thing: notice you didn't ask for video of anything Rich claimed - or anyone ever? - or said you will have to assume they have som...

Re: old school eye candy

Eden, your reply suggest you haven't read the posts carefully before also leaping to insult people as clueless. I thought you wanted to avoid that approach here and keep things friendly? Rich is simply totally wrong in this case. The photo clearly shows what he said is impossible - an original would...

Re: old school eye candy

Wow, a few very odd responses. We'll need to see video of people typing those in order to believe they actually said them ;-) >>I'd suggest you.. I'd suggest you relax on the angry conspiracy theories, Rich, and ask a friendly question if curious about something rather than leap first to insulting p...

Re: Disc brake

Outboard performs much better. Inboard you have 1 small piston pressing 1 little pad pressing on a disc and pushing it against another little pad. Outboard you have 2 pistons pressing on large floating pads on a stationary disc. That isn't to say the hydraulic inboard can't serve you well enough. Of...

old school eye candy

Few here probably care much about LDs but the guys in the shop have the CNC fan done to finish off our upcoming Lambretta LD CDI (electronic ignition) kit.

Wish they'd told me the plan earlier

Looks nice and shiny. Test fitting:

ScootRS Lambretta reed-valve kits

We previously posted about our smaller reed valve kit and promised a look at the larger one. Here it is. Unlike any other it uses a great Yamaha RD350 YPVS - TS1 type reed-valve and fits under the panels! :D :D http://scootrs.com/images/blog/reed_valve_ts1_prototype.jpg Plenty of frame clearance, th...
