Re: REMADE BODY WORK
The Viet ones are now pressed and available in bare metal, they look excellent but can't comment on fit as I've not yet tried fitting any. I can only buy them in pairs so I only sell them in pairs. Martin, How about splitting them and adding a premium? I need a new left hand series 3 after an off o...

Re: Cutting off a tyre
Use a bench vice to squeeze the tire away from the rim, wd40 for lube and tire spoons for the rest. Works every time. Cutting a tire off with a grinder is too much work and you always risk damaging the rim. Agreed. With the right tyre levers and a warm tyre (put it in the oven when she's not lookin...

Re: Routing the rear brake cable
I have a Ron moss oversized head plus reed block, talk about go round the houses.... :D +1 - A right pain to get it sorted. ;) I also have an Avanti head on my TS1 and this thread had me wondering, just checked and I routed mine under the carb. If I had gone over it would have got in the way of the...

Re: CDI
BGM stuff looks quality but often it is NOT. I've had 3 stators, 1 CDI and 3 LED rear lights fail. I don't buy their stuff anymore.

Re: BGM AFR Electronic Ignition
Beware BGM stators. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f369/simon1967/IMG_2123.jpg Captain Pugwash thinks this has happened due to clearance issues with the centre boss of the mag housing. I think he's probably right but haven't bee able to check as I'm on holiday. This is the third BGM stator I have...

Iron liner specialist recommendations.
I'd like to put an iron liner in a knackered TS1 barrel. Can anyone recommend a company that can do this?
Thanks

Re: Conti Move 365 update please
I put a set on just before the Coast to coast and found them to be very good all round. But after the 750 mile round trip the rear was pretty well worn as you might expect. I don't seem to get more than about a thousand miles out of any rear tyre.
