Re: Further woes (electric)
Run another wire in place of the brown. Even if it is external and a temporary measure, it should prove whether the original brown is breaking down under load. Mind you, 15volts seems a lot. i would expect it to be regulated to 12volts max, but if you do get it working at 15 volts, I reckon the ligh...

Middo, If you have the book and the DVD, then perhaps you need someone local who has done this already, and to keep using this forum. See if there is a club nearby. There is always someone with a bit of knowledge in every club. Where are you? You can also view the Lambreta Club Great Britain's forum...

Re: Basic engine info please
It sounds like you have a SI engine casing. These did not have a dished oil thrower, and one cannot be fitted.
It is always better to fit the bearings with the integral oil seal (remove the oil seal on the side that will be lubricated by the gearbox oil).

Thanks Barry, does it work OK?

What carb rubber?
I'm helping a mate build a new inlet for a small frame Vespa. We are building the manifold from scratch, so we are looking for a rubber suitable for a 24mm carb. The carb, I ought to explain, is a solid mounted item that we will machine to suit a rubber mount. So it is not essential to use a traditi...

Re: Smallframe
That looks a good buy. It seems to be the later PK XL with the PX style forks, which is good. They are great little motors and bags of tuning potential. Believe me, you don't need Falc power to have a huge laugh on these scooters. I'm helping a mate build a Malossi-powered small frame and we use usi...

If there's a knock on the door in the night, Mark, it'll be the men in white coats. I've just phoned them and they know where you live.
