Got a ts1 to fit and have 28 & 30phbh.
Will 28 give much improved MPG performance over the 30. Any pros and cons to fitting either carb as I wanna use the choice that makes most sense.

Re: HBarlow 207 squish
One I did with Harry's advice using a 1mm pack plate had the head skimmed and re profiled to drop the squish into the bore by 1.2mm. Prior to that it had 4.53mm squish as standard. 1.2mm is the level the head was recessed into the bore from what you're saying and not the actual squish clearance whi...

Re: HBarlow 207 squish
I can machine head back further to get the desired squish but I aint convinced the design of the tune could cope with 1.2mm and i cant really find any concrete evidence to tell me this size of squish would work on Harry Barlow tune. I,ve heard the term "non squish" referred to this setup b...

Motor pinks at mid-high revs ignition...

px rear hub oil seals
got p200e with what appears to be later px casings as hub oil seal is internal. Question: Is it safe to ditch external dust seal and use the external type oil seal to allow use of an unshielded bearing and aid ease of changing seals in the future. I have 30mm od hub centre and matching 29.89mm id ex...
