Re: Standard looking long range fuel tanks

Will you still be using the tool box as a tool box ? If not, you could get it done like this...I know this is in stainless, but my other scoot has this done with the old metal tank and tool box. http://i992.photobucket.com/albums/af46/bizzlys/dual_tank_ss_1.jpg Also, the rear exit fuel tap is bette...

Re: Rapido 250 Avanti Head

Didn't know AF were selling them ? I thought about this myself but my concerns were: A standard cowling wont fit and an Avanti cowling will leave a large gap between the cowling and cylider....not very efficient cooling !! The Avanti cylinder head does not use a gasket, there is a lip which fits int...

Re: help bike wont start

if you can push it with very little resistance that points to lack of compression. I'ld whip the head off and have a look inside. Wouldn't have thought worn rings would "just happen"....hole in piston, broken/missing ring would cause a sudden stop.. If you're edging down the carb' side (je...

Re: help bike wont start

cdi, HT lead and spark plug....try changing them one at a time.

i take it you've got decent compression ??

stator plate could be an option...

Re: Cosa engine

The Cosae engine has an hydraulic back brake if you kept it you would have to adapt your scoot to work the hydraulics or (probably more dificult) change the brake to shoes...plus the engine mount is a different width...
