So heres me watching Shameless last week and in the background of one of the scenes was a purple Lammy chopper. It is filmed in the Manchester / Blackpool area. LED bulbs might be the way to go here. You can buy tail and tail/ stop bulbs as well as indicator bulbs. I know that fully legal LED head light bulbs will be out this year. T5 and P ranges have no battery and have indicators. The flasher unit for these non battery scoots has a in built rectifier. Not cheap though 25 - 30 pounds ish.

Note: if you click on STATORS it will open up picture of said cdi units. Strangely the cdi part does not work.
