...............and here. it's on my Avanti and after 300+ miles there's been no problems and it is very smooth. Plus i have used one of his Chain down push tensioners....nice but a bit of a fiddle to fit.

i've got a 20 tooth front and 46 rear. I've put a 83 link chain on with a Rocho down-push tensioner....fits fine and runs fine...

I've put 290 miles on it now and it runs fantastic. other than changing the fuel tap for a fast flow i haven't had to touch a thing, the carb seems fine (30mm PHBH), clutch working smoothly and no sign of slip, kicks off 2nd kick, ......etc etc etc.. It`s to do with the way the fuel/oil mix is fed into the engine. Vespa`s are crank induction so the mix lubricates the crank big end on the way in and then the barrel piston area. Lambretta`s are piston induction so the mix needs more oil to ensure the big end gets enough. A fair explanation.....so...
