Re: Burning plugs
Cosmic Lover, you haven't said what make of plug you have been using?? There have been batches of dodgy NGK plugs around for a while. Try a Nippon Denso or Champion.

Re: AF road cassette clutch
When I first fitted mine it had already been fettled by Martin (Just Lambretta). Had a problem where it would not disengage. Took the cassette out and it worked fine on the bench. Fitted again and there was no movement on the clutch at all. Turned out the christmas tree I had was too tall and the ce...

Re: Ron Moss - Avanti TT3 - Cylinder Kit - Review & Test....
Does Ron do a piston with windows ready for an Avanti fitted with a reed valve? I've got the ScootRS small version of their reed valve and thinking of fitting over this winter to reduce spit back and improve fuel economy. Anyone done this already.

Re: EU, in or out?
Can we get this right? Of the the £350 million a day we pay in, we get back around £160 million a day from the EU, so not the figures as quoted. More importantly, we have a generation coming along behind us who have grown up in the EU and think of themselves as European more than little Englanders. ...

Petrol Tank Cap Seal
Minor thing but very annoying. When I fill up the tank, the rubber cap seal swells and I can't get it back under the two lugs. Once it dries out a bit it shrinks back to normal size. I think its due to the ethanol in modern fuel. Does anyhwhere do an ethanol resistant rubber seal?
