Re: Lince 200 o-tuning à la mode fastfrog
First real day tripping with the Lince. I can't believe How good the steering column works. Nice and acurate handling. My disc brake needs a bit of a stronger attack but anyway it brakes when pulling the lever. Engine? oh putain! That's the real pièce de résistance. Full from Bottom to 8000 rpm. It ...

Re: Pinasco Barrel Polini Piston
I've just picked up a Pinasco barrel that had an iron sleeve put in, it looks well done. The piston is Polini will this be okay? I've check the piston barrel clearence and that seems fine. If it's okay, I'm planning to bolt the kit directly onto a P2 with an up jetted standard carb and a better exh...

Re: Cast iron 225 factory tune 30phbh
Hi tavespeed. Got a same iron/phbh set-up but with a reed valve conversion. I've 49 PJ and 125 main. AV266/X2 second from bottom. Chop plug shows a brown chocolate plug. A bit rich maybe but no real bogging when warmed up. I'm still running in the whole thing.

Re: Lince 200 o-tuning à la mode fastfrog
2nd from the bottom I'm running it with 51/125 and it's just amazing how the engine rages through the RPM, restless. I'm still trying to keep my head cool and avoiding too long screaming sessions. plug chop looks fine to me, a bit rich but that's the deal during the running in.... http://imagizer.im...

Re: Lince 200 o-tuning à la mode fastfrog
initial carb setup: PJ: 54 MJ: 110, X2/266AS now PJ:54 MJ: 121 still a bit too lean. Next try with PJ:54 MJ 125 Sounds close to the average set up.

Re: Lince 200 o-tuning à la mode fastfrog
Exactly the same prob. S-box stub is way out of the cylinder flange when box fitted (hardly) to the chain casing. One idea was to cut a slice of the down pipe and weld it back. But that sucks a lot to do Marco's job. I got the exhaust for more than a year and Marco never answered my questions either...

Re: Lince 200 o-tuning à la mode fastfrog
Lince back home and first road trials. Very pleasant engine indeed. Obviously a bit too lean on main but rideable anyway. lots of guts and no inertia like an old fashioned 2 stroke KTM. Breaking still in its running in process. Shocks are the revelation. Standard 30 years old serveta front and rear ...

Re: O-tuning V5A for my elder son (hot french recipe inside)
Had to reshape (a bit) the head. Squish clearance between head and piston wasn't good with a negative angle at one step. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/538/tEU1Lj.jpg took my moviluty and did a little squish job: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/538/Tik5gI.jpg almost done: ht...
