I did a 70mm hole with a tax disc holder surround I made and some mesh both from halfords.

it simply means your chain has probably stretched a bit more in one place than another! If its not severe im sure it will be ok! As long as its not super tight then super slack you should be ok! Tried double lock and they are still coming loose! also tried locktite on them too! I have never tried silicone on an exhaust gasket before only on the head. Ts1 exhaust stud wire kit!
I need to get one of these kits as my exhaust nuts keep coming loose and blowing gaskets but they are a tenner to buy and I could make them if I know what size thread and pitch they are !! Does any one know what size allen bolts I need to get?

spoke to Mb today who have advised trying a new stud on the one that is loose! The splines on the stud look like they have peened over a bit! Jl4 very revy but good power! But also very prone to cracking. I would stick with JL3 if you dont want out and out revy power! Or if you fancy a change the Pm isnt as revy and a nice exhaust.

Until recently I ran the same gearing as you but with a jl4 and found the best main jet was a 290 and even got away with a 280 but up jetted just in case.
