Li125 special gearing
You need to check what gear box and what sprockets you have front and rear. This link will help you work out what gearing you currently have. I think you should be looking at a ratio of about 5.2 https://www.scooterhelp.com/tuning/lam.gear.calc.html 18/47 with a 125 special gearbox. Sent from my iPh...

Re: Dzus Fasteners For Rear Runners
http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/slide-bolts/0278398/ Good to see this catching on as I've been using them for 30 odd years. BTW, you can run an M5 tap through the button part then use an M5 screw & big washer on the underside. Have you got a photo showing these fitted? Sent from my iPhone using T...

So why do they make AC stators. There must be an advantage somewhere?

Re: Performance additions
An ignition kit is an easy fit and not too expensive. Not massive gains but worth doing imo

Re: Engine Rebuild
Small block casing for a series 2 Li150. I'm looking for a basic price on how much it would cost me To rebuild the engine with a Muggello 186 kit on? The casing has been stripped and ready to be built. I know the kit is about £450 not including a new crank. Any help would be appreciated. I also reb...

Re: Engine Rebuild
I was quoted 300 plus parts for a strip and rebuild with new seals and bearings. It soon adds up if you start upgrading and replacing other parts like clutch etc

Which exhaust?
Someone put me on to the reviews in the Scootering mag. Shall wait for the final part next month but for under 100 the AF VW pipe looks like good VFM !
Looking forward to seeing how the BGM pipe compares

Which exhaust?
Just finishing off rebuilding my engine. Has a GT186, 17 46, pacemaker gearbox. I've got a new AF clubman but was wondering if there is another exhaust that will give me decent torque but allow the engine to rev on a bit to give me a better top speed for the motorways. Scoot will be used one up arou...
