Ok that is two but... I don't know the state of tune and whether Lambretta are prone to detonation. If ...

Re: Home boring/honing
I laughed at the swarf from the "cutting" process. But the spoons are creative. To de-glaze bores I have uses a piece of emery cloth in a hacksaw slot in a 1/4" rod in an electric drill. Then again I have also squatted inside a cylinder :o with a 4" grindstone on a flexible shaft...

Re: Spanish Li150 Gearbox
I have no empirical experience. The torque curve for a GT186 looks pretty flat between 4500-6800 so if you change gear at 7500 you will come in right about 5500 which is right in the middle of the flat curve. Re: Pipe Design S-Box Lambretta Exhaust
http://i61.tinypic.com/rmk191.jpg So in this position the "muffler" touches the fins? Or the stub flange won't bolt up to the cylinder. As it would seem an easy job to drill through that large flange where the spot welds are to bolt it to the transmission case. Seems illogical that whole ...

Re: Pipe Design S-Box Lambretta Exhaust
OK I'm not taking sides just stating what I think. (With maybe a slight bias that many people complain about bad suppliers or manufacturers but suppliers and manufacturers have no medium for complaining about bad customers.) Are they still in business, have they closed? I'm trying to contact Marco R...

Re: Lambretta cylinder head damage
 If you have a dremel with small sanding cylinders https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQKPNz7WkGxhJu0DxxfrE0naOmObbnYkLbg9xlAs1Hn7kMg3_xg don't use the tool but just sand the squish band to knock of the sharp bits . Then finish off with some finer 200 grit. The sharp edges wi...

I'm drawn to the screen. What is it?
May not be the case but not many pictures on here with flyscreens when they add a few mph and make cruising easier.
