yeh,i'd replaced mine with a stainless item from a reputable dealer in Manchester,so you think it would be ok,not the case!!
the cs lock ring looks a good bit of kit,i'm using the MB one at the mo and it seems bob on.
i was looking more at the othe pic of the purple brake cyl and lever.....v nice!!

mine was caused by a poor fitting nut and lock washer,if i can i'll get pics up.
the lock ring didnt do it's job.it was torqued up as nec.i.m.o if the lock ring and nut were up to the job this would not of happened.

just to add to this one,my hub came loose on the way back from brid on the m62,the hub was a decent innocenti one that i had,with cone.i stopped when i felt the scoot going slower,when i looked the shoes were near enough on fire,glowing embers dropping out of the back of the hub!!!! managed to get h...

it will be a pain with any type of joints i think,the rod wont clear the carb (28mm delly pbhb).
maybe a slightly longer rubber mount would cure it??? but then gonna have clearance issues with the panel.
