sealing exhaust

ok new big bore s2 pipe,cant get a seal on the manifold/barrel joint, doesnt appear to be weak in any way but there is an oily weep on the exhaust nuts, so 1/ does it matter if its weeping a bit but not showing any signs of weakness, 2/ will it go away if i ignore it, ie it will eventually seal itse...

short inlet stud thread gubbed so i took barrel off and decoked, thought id match up the exhaust port to clubman manifold, lower edge of port is a good 2 mm above gasket/manifold, is it worth flowing lower edge as its not an obstruction, more a step, and im talking just the outside of the port, not ...

im using a 24mm phbl on a tv175 with an ancilloti clubman, slide 40, choke 60, pilot 50, D22 third notch, 100 main, i know its not the same size but go up 10p/c should get you a ballpark setting, depends on the pipe youre using of course

ok answering my own question and for info of others, the drive end IS supported, my gp backplates blind hole is for the type of drive with a plain metal end the same diameter as the shaft, my previous drive was of the type with thicker plastic end, it cannot have been supported at the drive end so t...
