Re: Mugello 225 enquiry!!
All depends on which version of the Mugello it is. There are a number of versions of this kit, each with its own head design, compression ratio, and porting spec', with each one being better set up with X rather than Y. Until you know which version you have then we will be unable to give you much wo...

What type of filter are you running? I ask as this seems a little 'on the money' (little safety margin) to me too and a pal of mine had a similar experience where he fitted a filter to a well set-up bike and then had it dyno'ed (different place)... then seized it on the way home! The error that they...

Re: 14-47 gearing
14 tooth front sprockets..... really not a good idea :( Consider that Innocenti only developed the 18/47 sprocket arrangement for the GP200 because of the increased power of the machine and the fact that GT and SX200 experience had indicated that a re-think needed to be had. The SX had to drop back ...

Re: Symptoms.... cause..?
Also, keep the green from the stator plugged in at the CDI but unplug the 2nd green, which comes from the loom. By doing this you will take a faulty ignition switch or other potential loom related issue out of the equation.
Also, what happens if you leave the choke on, better or worse?

Re: 12V DC CONVERSION - HOW TO
^... is that the case with this stator? I could do with looking at how the wiring of this 80s AF 12V AC stator differs to the common SIL stator but I'm trying to get my head around an issue.... that being that the white on this stator serves the dual purpose of earthing the lighting circuit + earthi...

Re: 125 special
Yes, they are pretty much one and the same engine. Indeed, if you look in the 60s tuning manual about upgrading an LI to LI125 Special spec' you'll see that the parts listed for the conversion are actually all of the GP125 parts (barrel+piston+head, gearbox, carb, jetting, exhaust spec', etc) and th...

Re: 125 special
As far as working on it is concerned you can pretty much refer to the DL/GP125 specification. About the only differences that I can think of are that the early examples had slightly different jetting in the 20mm carb and that many of the Italian imports are likely to have non-Ducati ignitions fitted...
