Hi, one of my engines is playing up a bit. Starts and runs well but occasionally backfires. I can't pin it down to anything specific though. I changed the cdi, and also for other reasons swapped a 26mm jetex for a 26mm delorto some time ago, but I'm still getting the backfire. It's an early (2005 is...

Li 150 gearbox with 16x46 sprockets bgm clubman and 30mm delorto. Great cruising set up at 60 mph, will touch 70.

One of mine was stuck and I had to hit it quite hard and move the drift around the bearing. You could try knock it back in a bit then give the circlip area a bit of a clean with wire wool and then grease it. Then try again.

Knock from the inside outwards. You've got to move the spacer to get a screwdriver (drift) on the bearing.

Not on a series 3 - piece of cake. but my mate had a nightmare trying to fit one to his kitted S1.

Is there a knack to using a rubber carb mount on a lambretta manifold?
For reason I won't bore you with, got a deli 26mm on a mugello small bore 200
kit and the carb has come off twice now. Am I doing it up too tight or not enough ?
