Re: Vespa T5 power.
T5 motor is a legend, lovely clean bikes you have there, immaculate individuals which have had a lot of labour loved on them is clear to see, and very understated to the untrained eye. Is the 172 motor spec the same on each of them ? What sort of performance do you experience with them, what of you...

Re: DVLA/SORN problems
I had that about 3 years ago when i was re-building a scooter. Did it on line and kept the confirmation e-mail. Then got a FINAL WARNING in big red letters saying the tax hadn't been paid. I sent an e-mail and got no reply. Luckily the scooter was almost finished so i just got it MOT'd and taxed the...

Re: Carb settings for polini kit
For a start your main jet is way too small with that venturi kit thing.
Even without it i used to run a 125 main jet.
I'm sure it says go up at least 8 points with the venturi kit.

Re: Vespa cable routing for a vespa virgin
The gear cables come out of the right hand side of the frame and go past the front of the exhaust down pipe and into the two adjusters.
The clutch cable sits in the adjuster under the engine/frame.
Only the rear brake cable goes through where you have it.

Re: T5 - 172 Malossi advice
As has already been said above.
The only difference being i run a 21 tooth clutch but only use 2% oil mix.
Never had an issue..

Re: 180 Kits. Pinasco or DR?
DR or Pinasco will be ok but ditch the Polini venturi air filter thing.
More trouble than its worth.
