Autolube Removal Overkill!
Hi All, I have tried in the past to find a description with pictures on how to remove the autolube and couldn't find any. I had a spare carb tray that I had picked up and the autolube device looked like it had had a hard life. Anyway, I was not concerned with just disabling the autolube with intenti...

Re: Vespa PX Steering Lock alternative
Mine has 4 wires from the switch PX200E but battery removed. A lot of the wiring has been fiddled with previously.
Thinking about it, would like something different

Vespa PX Steering Lock alternative
Hi all,
Dropped forks, looks like the inside of the welded tube damaged allowing barrel to move to a locked position.
.Was wondering, instead of getting a welded steering lock tube done has anyone come up with an alternative ignition that bypasses the steering lock altogether?
Tks

Re: Vespa PX Steering Lock worry
Hi All Since buying my PX 200 some years ago the lock barrel occasionally used to come out with the key a bit but always went back in again and it never caused me any concern. A while back, i returned to my parked up scoot and no matter what with the key in, the barrel would not turn and i was stuc...

Re: PX Autolube do you clean yours?
Hi Paul, As most "Self Service" I just wondered who regularly maintained it as I think many leave well alone. I was shocked at the wear and swarf collected after 11K. I have umed and arred about going premix but the autolube is spot on if maintained so for now will keep it. Just putting it...

Re: PX Autolube do you clean yours?
Should be 3 pics. After recent rebuild was going to disable autolube but decided to overhaul it instead. Cleaned mine out and compared with another 24/24 PX200 carb. Lots of swarf in the tray indents under autolube mechanism, but look at the finish to the trays under mechanism, wear to the arm nippl...
