Got a GP150 engine bored to 175 and ported by Dave Betts (rip) with a scorpion pipe currently fitted with an old 28mm dellorto that runs but is not set up properly and looks rough anyway on a new engine so made my mind up to buy a new carb. I wish you all the best mate, I remember seeing your panels part finished in you garage and was blown away by the detail, now there finished there even better.

There was a chopper in Jetset about 20 odd years ago with twin big carbs, looked a treat but I was told never ran right and Armandoes tried a twin carb Vespa conversion with similar bad results.

Loving the new writing on the panels and extra bits of work done Nooch, one of my all time favourite paintjobs.

stripping chrome

Does anyone on the forum have access to equipment to strip chrome from a headlight rim and air scoop, ideally mates rates lunchtime job etc.
Dont want to send to chromers and pay for strip/polish/rechrome etc as I want to engrave them once chrome stripped off before re-plating.
