Re: SIP Speedo set up.

Got to disagree, the revs setting has bugger all to do with the speed setting. You have to tell the speedo you are using the external sensor rather the cable (referred to as internal from memory) then you have to tell it how many pulses per wheel revolution ( if you have one magnet I expect it shou...

I agree with you about the new inner cable with threaded end, but you still need the spring in theory to keep tension on the adjuster nut ;)

Re: Uni Lambretta 200 casing

On initial perusal they look good quality, like the side casings and mag housings, and I think they have a bigger gasket face around the transfers. I wonder of they are being shipped directly from UNI? They look g...

Re: Indian li150 gearbox

If you used a 14T front sprocket with your TV200 box it would actually have better ratios than the SX200 box. It might make the clutch work a bit harder and it's a bit small for my liking (cush drive surface has to be undercut for the chain I believe). You'd also have to sort out chain length, altho...

Re: Indian li150 gearbox

Being able to keep in the power in 4th is more a function of final drive ratio rather than gearbox chosen, that is by varying front sprocket and crownwheel you can end up with the appropriate final drive ratio on (just about) any gearbox. What is generally more of an issue on a tuned engine is the j...
