Can understand why the exhaust and inlet sides of the barell are the thrust faces, but can not get my head around which would be the primary thrust face when the piston is rising or falling reason is am trying to work out if using a longer piston will help longevity of the barrell and piston once wi...

If its any help, I have been using Adspeed's solution in my sprinter for some time now. Not had any ring failures - famous last words.... Mind I'm running at 100mph + at the end of the quarter mile so I reckon you'd be OK with this solution! Mr Tucky What piston and barrell are you using if you don...

good idea

presume that best to do this on a wire ring only, moving the ring round like that

what did you use to cut the notch, rather do it right

knew the wiesco kh750 piston ran the pegs in the boost port, why i wanted to find OEM H2 pistons, 16mm wasnt a major issue as would have used a rd400 rod

Help

One Wiesco TS250 piston peg is too closse to the boost port
OEM KH750 are rocking horse sh*t
KX250 run in the boost port

does anyone know of another piston for a 116 rod 18mm small end

Never been a big Vespa fan, until i had use of a Kitted (135cc) 90SS for several hours blatting around Rimmini and San Marinio

absolutely fell in love with the 90SS, they are a credit to you and I,m very envious :mrgreen:
