Re: Lambretta dampers

I just purchased a set of targaline dampers from camlam cost me an arm and a leg but they do the job and look mighty good to boot.Got the anodised red set which are really hard to find as well so chuffed with them.

Re: Paintwork scratch's easy

Seems like you used a similar dickhead to the one who painted mine, the artwork was good but the base colour which was painted by a company from Hinckley called Brookfield was possibly the worst job I have ever encountered.Exactly the same issues and more that you are on about, I even have rust comi...

Re: Rear brake cable

I use the cub rear brake costs a tenner with the outer(I don't bother with that use a standard outer) from most honda dealers just cut the ferrel of the end.Much better than the original plus if you need to take your engine out there's no need to undo it at the legshield end.

Re: Mb rear bearings

Same here done 100's miles back in the 80's and never needed to change one now it seems I need to change one on every scoot I ever get.Maybe it was because I was used to just sliding around and thought that was the norm back then.

Re: Plug chop colours

Re: Clutch dragging or slipping on monza

Re: Fuel consumption 225

Interesting topic as I've just changed my set up to 225 and was unsure of what my fuel consumption would now be.Now running a 30mm with franspeed tourer that has great acceleration and good build up to top end(had upto 70 no issues) on about 2/3rds throttle.Using an li150 box 46/16 to start with giv...
