converting gp kickstart mechanism to li/sx
ive got hold of a bare gp chaincase but am wondering about converting to li/sx type kickstart mechanism as its supposed to be easier on the endplate etc.
is it as easy as just using the li/sx kickstart lever / return plate / no need for kickstart stop and allen bolt?
cheers

Re: Protech Rear Shock
The 'Protec' is nothing more and nothing less than the Taffspeed shock in it's latest and long lived format if I am not mistaken. Perhaps people should be refusing to buy them 'on moral grounds' in memory of Terry and in support of Ian? A fabulous shock absorber for the Lambretta IMHO, only slightl...

Re: Just fitted an MB / BGM Clubman
Just been out for a proper test run after refitting the clutch. Can't say I'm overwhelmed. Better top end but not much better than a KBA big bore and a LOT noisier (And I've removed and refitted it to make sure that the fit is absolutely spot on and there are no leaks anywhere.) Some adjustment to ...

I thought larger crankcase volume was a good thing?a.lo.v2 wrote:this will reduce crankcase compression surely?, the mix having to fill the bearing area as well .

rod length
ref: ts1 60mm stroke 107mm or 110mm or 115/116mm
I know using a longer rod will slightly reduce vibration
will it help bearing life?
is there much benefit of 115/116mm over 110mm?
cheers
