unfortunately yes - didn't realize it raised the transfers and ts1 transfers are already large when I bought it.....rosscla wrote:You using a 60mm crank?

does it matter if there is 2mm of piston skirt still in the exhaust port at bottom dead centre on a ts1?

hello camel - just get hold of a knackered gp crank with decent flywheel side.
use a very thin disk cutter to cut through crank next to the web and you've got a flywheel holding tool for the lathe.
check run out on lathe as some 3 jaws aren't very good
