could be gear chatter especially if you have a lighter flywheel, how tight have you shimmed the box ?

all i was saying is that it could have been a seal that was just letting by a bit, nothing major but just enough to change a few settings, however unlikely still remains a posibility

so the big jump can be explained by the seal change, having had a wanky seal in the first place it was jetted rich to compensate then the new seals didnt let by so it needed leaning off, the seal you take out might look ok but how do you know how well it seals ?

do you have the stator with the ht coil on it ? are you sure there is no red from the stator ? if not can you post a pic up of stator wiring and ill do my best to help you out regarding what wire goes to what, 50 specials do seem to have the wankiest wiring known to man and as much as a blown rear l...

well ive stripped down the evo after 400 miles or so, for 2 reasons 1 is the engine mounts are f@@ked and 2 becase on a smallie there are different sizes of sealing pad, i had the smaller at 37mm long or so and my new case has one 42mm, this doesnt sound a lot but will make a difference especially w...

yes they are the exact same body throughout the phbh range only the bore and mount differ tho model specific ones off of bikes can differ in spec

im using a keihin 35pwk and its sweet as a nut tho i hasten to add its on a smallframe but compared to the tmx30 i was using before its miles better and no comparison to a phbh
