Re: carb rubber
I tried the MB ribbed one, very impressed with the quality and fit, unfortunately I found out that when the bike was hot it slipped off all to easily, then of course contaminated no amount of clip pressure would keep the fecker on, I was really dissapointed after such a good start. back to the old s...

Re: T5 Polini 152
I was certainly impressed by my Polini kit, and never experienced an issue with it. Polini and PM made an excellent mile munchin rally machine. fitted mine with a slightly taller P2 4th gear and never had a problem with the increased 3-4 jump, although the difference was only marginal, but i guess r...

Re: PHBH atomiser tube
I understand your original question, the atomiser screws into a brass housing (diffuser) which protrudes into the venturi, I have successfully removed these in the past by filing (narrowing) the (unwanted) atomiser, reducing the diameter so that it will pass through the carb casting/rim in its origi...

Re: malossi 210 HSTR 12·1:1 head
for what its worth, I've just ordered the SIP 11.5/1 head as I too experienced slight and occasional detonation no matter what jetting or timing on mine.
once its warmer in the garage I'll have it fitted for the better weather, but just got another 4 inch of snow last night !

Re: malossi 210 HSTR 12·1:1 head
if 210 (swept volume)+18cc head = 228
228/18 = 12.5 - what you've got
if 210 (swept volume)+20cc head = 230
230/20 = 11.5
if 210 (swept volume)+22cc head = 232
232/22 = 10.5
so by my reckoning I would estimate 22cc head ?
I'm no expert by any means but just my thoughts and maths
