Re: Crank won’t turn when flywheel nut is tightened.
It’s a Pinasco Flytech flywheel - and after having had another look at it tonight, the problem is definitely with the new flywheel. I’ve tried a standard Piaggio stator & flywheel on tonight & that was fine, no binding & engine turns free - so no issue with the crank - thank god. When I’...

Crank won’t turn when flywheel nut is tightened.
I managed to wreck the flywheel on my vespa a couple of weeks back through over tightening the nut, which stretched the boss & lead to the flywheel nut working loose at speed & shearing the woodruff key. I didn’t have a spare with me & so ended up doing a 4 mile walk of shame home... Any...

Re: V force reed, are they worth it?
I have vforce reeds in four reed valve engines now - two of which have over 5k miles on them. The reeds have proved 100% reliable & trouble free up to now with the original petals holding up well.
They are all the vforce 4 type.

Re: BGM CARB
No need to change your carb - but you will need to up your main jet by a couple of sizes over standard (if you haven’t already done so). On my Rally 200 with sip 2 pipe I run a 120 main jet & drilled filter - whilst a mates P200 with same pipe runs with a 122 mj & drilled filter... no fuel s...

Re: Realistic top speed on 1980 P200e
A healthy standard 200 should be able to crack a genuine 60mph.
My old Rally 200 Femsa is stock apart from sip pipe, drilled filter & 120 mj and It can hit (gps) 68 mph on the flat.
