Re: Fibreglass rear end

I was planning something very similar to what you have done, battery coil and reg in the original tool box area, full podtronic dc, maybe fuel guage, volt and amp guage (coz im a gadget man! ) on the seat arch. legshield tool box with maybe a set of pathfinder spots. I need to find some good ...

Re: Fibreglass rear end

thanks Martin, as you say this is exactly the same as my back end. The way you have solved these problem there is no need to hinde the body which makes things easier :D . I was planning on using an aero type filler as you have. I was planning on using duze fasteners or a rally car bonnet fixing (dem...

Re: crankshafts

readspeed do offset big end pins. They are quite dear because alot of engineering work to make them! I believe the offset is 1mm so it increases stroke by 2mm. Yam RD350 and RD400 rods will fit normal 16mm gugeon pins. the 350 is 110mm and 400 is 116mm

Re: EGT sensa

I'm following the thread closly because I'm thinking of getting an EGT guage on my scoot. I think as with any guage it can only be used as an indicator as to what is happening in the engine, it is alway going to be different reading on different days or weather conditions. If the temp suddenly raise...

Re: shortening a chain

you're right that the mb one isnt available yet, think theirs use a spring to tension the chain. There is one that you can get from LTH in germany, not spring loaded just pull it down and bolt up. pics of it in product showcase.

Re: shortening a chain

Why dont you buy one of the new chain adjusters that pulls the chain down instead of pushing it up. Meant to be made for just this reason, to do away with stretched (worn) chains.

Re: Crank advice

Indian crank webs are meant to be very good, its the bearings and conrod that are poor. Madspeed use indian webs on his tuned ts1's. Ive been told AF race rods fit as do Rd 400, in fact any rod with 22mm big end can be fettled to fit. Been told its the width of the big end that may have to be machin...
