62mm or 64mm piston
Does anyone know of a 62mm or 64mm piston that has the ring pegs running each side of the exhaust port? I have a reed valved 175 with an extra boost port cut into the intake side, at the moment i am using an asso piston but one of the pegs lines up with this port so I can only use 1 ring. The piston...

Re: mugello squish ,no reading.
It will run with a squish of over 1.5mm just it wont run at its best. As said already 1mm is perfect, less than that and there can be problems with the piston touching the head as the con rod stretches and tolerences are taken up in the bearings are taken up. Sean how did you modify the transfers? w...

problem fitting end plate
I've just tried fitting a close ratio gearbox to my lamy.......I was unable to fit the end plate as the distance between the layshaft and the shaft of the gearbox cluster seems too far apart.....When I refitted my innocenti 150 gearbox the end plate fits with ease. The difference between centres of ...

The fit of rear cone into a hub?
I've just been checking my rear hub after reading all the threads on here. Yes it's a ramp hub but its in perfect condition as far as I can see. My only issue is I need to know how far the rear hub cone is meant to fit into the hub taper? Mine seems to have around 5mm to go before it bottoms out, is...

Re: GP150 cylinder - Mick Abbey Tuned - Back to the old school !
The new casa lambretta barrel has boost port in the side of the bore but these are fed from below the piston not connected into the transfers, I believe SES do something similar to casa. But what Mick has done so far is fantastic! Biggest problem is going to be finding a bit of the barrel wall for t...

Re: Front hub rebuild.
I think the main thing is to get all the distance pieces in the right order. Indian and italian are slightly different, indian ones have a spacer that fits through the oil seal and a washer on the outside, with the italian ones the spacer and washer is one component. If all correct the half nuts can...
